How to print With Password from a printers Job storage
Hello, here’s a quick tutorial on how to use the job storage feature on the HP laser jet printer. This function helps to reduce paper waste while also providing additional security to your printed jobs if you do not want others to have access to them.
Step 1: After sending your print job to the printer, proceed to the printer and search for “Print from job storage”, as shown in the picture below.
Step 2: Click on the “Print from job storage” from the previous step. This would bring up a list of jobs that have been sent to the printer to be printed, as shown in the image below. Select your job, which should have your name as an indicator.
Step 3: When you click on your print job you would be brought to a page that shows what you just sent to the printer, this is also shown in the image below. Click on this work which should currently be private.
Step 4: Provide your 4 digit pin that has already been setup by you to enable you access the private job. You would see an interface like the on in the picture to provide your pin.
Step 5: After providing your pin, the private job would now be unclocked and the content would be visible. Click on the content, which is labelled as 1 in the picture below, afterwards, click the print button which is labelled as 2 in the picture below.
Thank you. Hope this helped.
